This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Use these Randolph County routes for the most common official questions:
- Whether a warrant exists: call the Randolph County Sheriff's Office at 256-357-4545 for routing, then follow its in-person instructions
- A bench warrant for a missed court date: contact the Circuit, District, or municipal court that set the case because that court issued and holds the process
- Resolving or clearing a warrant: talk to a licensed Alabama attorney and the issuing court about a recall, a surrender, or posting bond
- An arrest warrant tied to a charge: the issuing court controls the case and bond, while the Sheriff's Office serves county process
For county warrant routing, call the Randolph County Sheriff's Office at 256-357-4545. The official court instruction directs a suspected warrant-holder to appear at the Sheriff's Department. The detention center is at 340 Probilt Drive, Wedowee, AL 36278; call before traveling because round-the-clock jail operation does not mean warrant administration is available at all hours.
For Circuit or District Court files, contact the Randolph County Circuit Clerk, 1 Main Street South, Wedowee, AL 36278, at 256-357-4551. Public hours are weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding noon to 1:00 p.m. Municipal matters should go to the city court that issued the citation or order.
